Oscar Ahnfelt (1813−1882)

Oscar Ahnfelt was born 21 May 1813 in Gullarp, Skåne, and died on 22 October 1882 in Karlshamn. He was a preacher who spread the word of God through music. After teaching guitar at the Jöns Petter Cronhamn's School of Music in Stockholm, he started his own guitar school. He joined the new Evangelical Revival and became an itinerant preacher and singer with a large audience. Among his songs is the melody to ‘Blott en dag’.
