Work comment
According to some sources, this march was sung prior to battles led by King Charles XII of Sweden and sung after the psalm "Vår Gud är oss en väldig borg" [A Mighty Fortress Is Our God] by Martin Luther. It is also known as the 'Karl XII:s fältmarsch' [approx. King Charles XII's march for military campaigns].
Since 1939, it is the ceremonial march of the Dalregementet [the Dalarna Regiment]
