Description of work
It's a setting a Japanese poem by Saigyō / P.E. Wahlund. It was completed in the fall of 1966. The work was accepted of the Kammarmusikstudion at The Swedish Broadcasting Corporation in the spring 1967. I tried to capture the slow entrance of Spring as expressed in the poem. The instruments are mostly illustrating and enhancing the undertext of the poem.
