Description of work
A work for 8 flutes (double quartet): 2 piccolos 2 flutes 2 alto flutes 2 bass flutes
This work was composed at the request of flutist William Montgomery for his flute ensemble at the University of Maryland, College Park. They rehearsed the work but never performed it in concert.
The performers were placed in a V-shape in order to achieve a spatial effect.
