Work comment

On one of the transcriptions, the copyist Fredrik Samuel Silverstolpe has made an annotation stating that this symphony was composed by Kraus, to be performed in the St. Nicolai Kyrka vid Riksdagen. År 1789 [St. Nicolai Church, at the (opening of the) Parliament in 1789]
