Authenticated work (according to Holm)
According to F. A. Dahlgren's "Glossarium öfver föråldrade eller ovanliga ord och talesätt i svenska språket från och med 1500-talets andra årtionde" (Lund, 1914-16) the meaning of the verb 'huxa' [also spelled 'hugsa' or 'hoxa'] is approx. 'consider' and 'pay attention to'.
