Överås [formerly spelt Öfverås] is a castle-like building in Gothenburg, built in 1861 by James Dickson.
In the Swedish edition, this composition is dedicated to his wife, Eleonore, most likely sometime in 1867/1868, when the Satters resided in Gothenburg.
