Work comment
The title is a translation of Basilius Förtsch's 1609 prayer for the New Year, 'Jesus ist gar ein süsser Nam'. 'Si, Jesus är ett tröstrikt namn' has been included in the Swedish hymnal since 1695 (albeit to a 1540s melody from Strasbourg or Lyon).
