Under the song title we can read that this is a little song dedicated to the contestants in 1862, by O.A.' [i.e., Onkel Adam, see above].
The magazine organised competitions in various subjects, e.g., the usage of the Swedish language, drawing, handwriting, translation into other languages, and musical composition. This song was editor Onkel Adam's greeting to those having competed in 1862, and to this end, he teamed up with the then 10-year-old Fredrika Wickman.
