A regional archive for independent archives in Kronoberg province.

Kronobergsarkivet is the county's largest individual archive. The mission of the Kronobergsarkivet includes overall responsibility for individual archives within the county, encourages activities and promotes interest in historical research of the region. The archive contains documents concerning traditional social movements as well as material from businesses and private individuals. Over 39,000 volumes from nearly 4,000 different archival sources are stored here. Since 2010, the archive has been a part of Kulturparken Småland AB, which also includes Smålands Museum and Svenska Emigrantinstitutet [The Swedish Emigrant Institute].
