Regional branch of Sveriges Spelmäns Riksförbund (SSR) - (Sweden's Folk Musicians' National Association) with collections of local folk music from Södermanland.
The archive of Södermanlands Spelmansförbund has a large collection of handwritten transcriptions, musical notations, audio recordings and photographs – much of which is digitised and is available on our own computer server.
Archival descriptions, lists of recordings and a selection of digitised materials are available on our home page at: www.samlingarna.sormlandsspel.se
All of the audio recordings have been digitised, and the originals are now donated to and stored at Svenskt visarkiv.
The original archive can be found in Nyköpings stadsarkivs föreningsarkiv (the Associations Archive- part of Nyköping's city archive). Please contact the archivist for help at: https://sormlandsspel.se/kontakt/
