Sörmlands Museum is a regional museum (county museum) with activities throughout Sörmland.
Sörmland's Museum has both national and regional missions to promote and conduct regional activities focused on the arts and handicrafts. These include exhibitions, educational programs, open collections emphasising people's stories, cultural environmental work, collecting and documentation, activities for children and young people, as well as a museum shop. The collections include 100,000 objects, one million photographs and around 500 meters of shelving with archival materials.

Sörmlands Museum's folk music material is not currently digitised. The digitised material from our collections is uploaded to the website. Under the tab "Sök i samlingarna" (Search the collections) or under "utforska" (explore) you can, for example, find some of the material.
